Review by hotel critic
Tucked away in a picturesque setting, our recent stay at the caravan was quite the experience. The hot tub was a standout feature, enhancing our relaxation. The hosts went above and beyond, decorating for my partner's birthday and accommodating our needs seamlessly. The lodge itself was clean and well-equipped, with complimentary snacks and thoughtful touches like towels and kitchen utensils. We appreciated the hassle-free setup; not having to bring bedding was a welcome convenience. The on-site breakfast pass for £95 felt excessive. Instead, we opted for a charming local eatery, the Jolly Scotchman, which proved to be more budget-friendly. Despite a minor hiccup with the hot tub, the hosts addressed it promptly. This place strikes a balance of comfort and value, making it ideal for families or couples seeking a brief escape.
